Courtney Hamilton is a Director at Global Health Strategies. Prior to joining GHS, Courtney led digital strategy and media relations campaigns at Group SJR for a range of clients including USAID, Target, Levi Strauss &Co. and TED. In her work with USAID, Courtney developed strategies for promoting USAID's Grand Challenges for Development work and Global Development Lab launch, designing campaigns that captivated mainstream audiences, attracted collaborators, and illustrated the global impact innovators, such as Jorge Odon, had achieved through working with USAID.
Previously, Courtney spent four years at the Natural Resources Defense Council, the nation's leading environmental advocacy organization. There, Courtney executed media relations campaigns for health and environmental issues, including dengue fever, BPA, phthalates, CAFO water pollution, global warming, and energy regulations. Courtney received her B.A. from NYU from the Gallatin School for Individualized Study.
