Hitesh Mahajan is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of working experience in development organizations, manufacturing companies and audit firms. He is responsible for implementing a strong financial system by providing leadership on all financial management issues, overseeing all aspects of finance and administration matters including audit, banking and insurance including ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical requirements as mandated by the law of the country.
His core functions include meeting corporate reporting requirements in a timely manner by maintaining financial records, managing portfolio of grants (USAID, Global Fund, BMGF, MSDF & DFID), and ensuring adherence to M&E guidelines, besides compliance with internal control mechanisms as well as with the statutory and labour laws of the country. He has adequate experience with regards to Employee Benefit Plans, double taxation avoidance agreement, Accounting standards, FCRA, FEMA and Internal Control Systems.
He also have experience and handling clients for documenting a wide variety of accounting information systems and analyzing and designing internal control systems to include both preventative and detective controls.
He also have the experience of developing budget components for all new bids that is proposed by the organization, annual work plans and budgets for programmes across several countries, including quarterly financial requisition and monitoring the implementation of the same.
In addition Human resource management has also been part of his core functions in most of his assignments till date. He has the experience of developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, manuals and tools. This includes staff recruitment and management, developing salary systems and packages by comparing across bench marks in the sector, preparing of contracts and payroll management across all offices in India and in line with the overall organizational systems
