Prior to joining GHS, Rebecca was a Pascale International Fellow with the Clinton Global Initiative, interning with the Global Health Commitments Team to help develop cross-sectoral partnerships on key global health issues. Rebecca previously interned at the World Health Organization in Fiji, where she worked on a school-based intervention program to combat obesity and improve nutrition in schoolchildren. She also served as a fellow with the Yale Global Health Leadership Institute in Ghana, helping to develop national policies for increasing access to mental health resources. Her prior experience also includes an internship with the U.S. State Department at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations, where she focused on non-proliferation and the Al-Qaida/Taliban sanctions committee. Rebecca graduated with a B.A. in Political Science and a Master of Public Health from Yale University. On campus, she worked with the Rudd Center for Food Policy & Obesity, the Yale Public Health Coalition, and the Global Health Justice Partnership. She was also a member and co-president of Yaledancers, Yale's premier dance company.
