Brad Tytel is a Manager at Global Health Strategies, where he helps oversee communications and advocacy support to international organizations and businesses developing new global health interventions in the developing world. At GHS, Mr. Tytel has helped design and support media campaigns in the U.S., Europe, Africa and South Asia. As part of this effort, he has directly managed in-country programs and trainings in Eastern and Southern Africa.
Prior to joining GHS, Mr. Tytel worked as a communications consultant with the Global Alliance for TB Drug Development. There he managed the redesign of the organization's interactive communications, and supported outreach to media and international partners.
As a journalist, Mr. Tytel has written, produced and edited for a range of publications in all mediums: from print to public broadcasting to online media. He has also worked in the non-profit sector on issues ranging from independent film to national criminal justice policy. He has extensive international experience on six continents.
Mr. Tytel holds a B.A. in Peace and Development Studies, magna cum laude, from Amherst College. He has a M.A. in Journalism from New York University, where he studied cultural, critical and international reporting.
