Judith Haider is a Manager at Global Health Strategies, working on a variety of vaccine issues. Before joining GHS, Judith spent two years as a Litigation Paralegal at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. There she worked on a diverse set of high-profile cases and pro-bono matters, ranging from financial services to employment law. Ms. Haider has spent nearly a decade as a volunteer and activist around AIDS and health-related issues, at organizations including the AIDS Community Services of Western New York, the Adopt-a-Country-AIDS-Campaign, Mapendo International, the Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust and the Junior League of the City of New York.
Ms. Haider holds a B.A. from Davidson College in Biosocial Medicine, a self-designed interdisciplinary major addressing the socioeconomic and political barriers to health. Her undergraduate thesis examined the influence of high-level political commitment on stemming HIV infection rates in Kenya. Ms. Haider has international experience in Kenya and Tanzania where she has conducted health research and worked with a rural mission hospital and an NGO for urban refugees.
