Founded in January 2013, GHS China focuses on promoting China’s engagement in global health and development by providing strategic communications, policy research and advocacy. Our work in China includes supporting efforts to further engage China in global health and development and helping ensure development and worldwide delivery of China’s high-quality, low-cost health technologies, such as vaccines. Through Global Health Strategies Initiatives (GHSi), GHS’ non-profit affiliate, we help facilitate increased understanding of China’s increasing leadership and contributions to global health policy and practice. Our office, located in Beijing, is led by Dr. Cheng Feng, who brings more than 25 years of experience in global health.
GHS China has developed partnerships with the Chinese Government, UN agencies, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, Tsinghua University, Peking University and other important stakeholders and organizations such as NGOs, civil society groups and opinion leaders.
